So what's the difference?
There isn't a huge amount of difference otherwise between the two to ensure that the creators didn't upset LittleBigPlanet fans.
You can keep hold of all DLC and costumes from the first LittleBigPlanet onto the second one, You are still able to play LittleBigPlanet one community levels.
There are a few obvious changes, such as the grappling hook, creatinator, bounce pads, micro chips ECT. But most of these changes are to help making a level on LBP2 a lot easier, They have also added a level link so the annoying thermomitor telling you that you've run out of room to add anymore objects, doesn't matter to creators anymore.
The rendering and textures in LBP2 have been improved dramatically even with animated costumes and materials!
LBP had everything we needed to create a level just it could have done with a few minor tweaks as creating a level could be difficult,the story mode in LBP2 has been added to alot because in the first one it didn't have much of a story, you just played with sets of levels, in LBP2 they give you the ins and outs of what's going on throughout gameplay through FMVs.
